This air track provides a frictionless surface that is indispensable for studying the mechanics of linear motion.

This model shows the internal structure and operating principles of an air cooled two-stroke engine. All parts are aluminum and plastic. Ignition is shown via a small bulb. Carburetor and fuel supply are also sectioned. Hand crank is provided for manual operation. Mounted on a base.

A set of dynamic cart trolleys are used for investigation on momentum, velocity and acceleration. Each trolley consists of two rectangular wooden blocks, 300 mm long, moving on three low friction wheels (ball bearings in wheels). The trolley is fitted with spring loaded impulse rod. It has a provision for stacking the trolleys on top of each other with removable pins. It is supplied with two rubber corks and 2 needles, so trolleys may be stuck together for inelastic collisions. A striking pin for releasing the striker and 3 pins or dowels for stacking are provided. One trolley weight approximately 1 kg.
