These bright red, easy to open, polypropylene (PP) biohazard bags are for disposal of biohazard waste and plastic laboratory items such as used tips and tubes. Bags have a clearly printed biohazard symbol. These also pass ASTM 1922 tear resistance and ASTM 1709 dart impact tests. The 37 L bag (470347-948) is made from HM-HDPE and can only withstand autoclaving up to 121 °C.
