Students employ the Ouchterlony Procedure to demonstrate the formation of an antigen-antibody complex through passive diffusion, resulting in an easily observed precipitate in the diffusion medium. For a realistic yet safe experience, the activity utilizes antigens and antibodies from animals; no human components are used. It includes materials for ten setups and instructions.
