Students will investigate the inheritance patterns of genetic corn seeds grown hydroponically. Then by completing Punnett squares and by employing concepts in classic Mendelian genetics, your students will determine the genotypes and phenotypes of the mutation found in the offspring. In the process, they will also learn the importance of chlorophyll in green plants.
