Each one of these unused cartridges has been drilled through both sides and the primer has been drilled out to ensure the cartridges are physically inert and could never be made active. Additionally, the holes through the side make them visually recognizable as inert. The safe state of these cartridges puts students at ease in identification. They can also be used for simulated crime scenes. Cartridges include a .308, .223, .38 Spl., .45, .40, and 9mm cartridge.
