These ready-to-use kits are packaged with 8, 12, or 16 vials, which are prefilled with 20 ml of 10% neutral buffered formalin and a leak-resistant seal.

Each container is half-filled with 10% neutral buffered formalin.

The insert of each kit is labeled with the appropriate section of the prostate, which allows for easy tissue sampling.
