The very tight bond between streptavidin and biotin can be utilized to attach biotin-labeled proteins, nucleic acids, or other compounds to the microplate. Plates include a “Best Before” date and lot number on each pack. Available with black, white, clear, or µClear® bottom. The µClear® plates feature a reduced background, increasing sensitivity to 340nm. The 96-well plates feature a chimney-well design to prevent cross-contamination. 781990-589 and 781997-589 have blocker #5.
