Presterilized filter units with surfactant-free cellulose acetate membranes are ideal for proteinaceous solutions.

Membrane pore size, membrane type, lot number, catalog number, and expiration date are marked on the filter cup for easy identification. Filter also features molded graduations, quick-disconnect tubing adapter, and cellulosic vent plug. Adapter accepts 6.35 to 9.5 mm (¹/₄ to ³/₈") tubing. Padless membrane support plate minimizes foaming.

Filters are low protein binding and have no wetting agent. Units feature a 1 ¹/₂-turn threaded screw closure that guarantees a leakproof seal and eliminates pH shift in receiver storage bottles.
