This two-door refrigerator/freezer has a 19 inch footprint, ideal for areas with limited floor space. A factory-installed lock secures both sections with a user-set combination (two keys are included to override the combination if needed). The lower refrigerator compartment is designed to operate between 2 and 8 ºC, with a digital thermostat that allows you to control the temperature without opening the door. The thermometer displays the current and high/low temperatures to the nearest tenth of a degree in a readout switchable from Celsius to Fahrenheit. The temperature probe is encased in a glycol-filled bottle to help simulate the temperature of stored materials, rather than the refrigerator air temperature. An audible alarm warns if the unit has gone out of the recommended range.
The unit features fan-forced cooling for even temperature distribution, with adjustable wire shelves to help promote proper circulation. Door racks are included to hold non-temperature sensitive items. The freezer also includes door storage, best suited for storing ice packs and other items without strict temperature requirements. (NOTE: the freezer temperature is based off the refrigerator setting and cannot be adjusted independently.) Additional features include a user-reversible door swing, sealed back for easier cleaning, and interior refrigerator light.
