Disposable pasteur pipettes are manufactured from borosilicate glass, and feature fire-polished tops and a straight-cut tip.

Pasteur transfer pipettes are excellent for use in all general laboratory applications, including blood banks, hematology, chemistry, and bacteriology. Smooth, fire-polished tops facilitate bulb attachment. Glass pasteur pipettes have an inside diameter of 7 mm, which tapers to a straight-cut tip. A positive constriction located 2.5 cm (1") from the top of the pipette facilitates plugging. Pipettes feature Borosilicate glass construction. The controlled drop pipette delivers 22 to 26 drops per ml.
