These disposable, conical-bottom, freestanding tubes have smooth inner walls that support easier filling and sample recovery during routine preparation steps. RNase/DNase-free and non-pyrogenic construction helps reduce interference in sensitive sample handling workflows.
Flat caps provide a smooth top surface for added labeling flexibility, while plug-style caps support a more secure seal in shaker and horizontal incubator use. Caps are made of high-density polyethylene.
The side writing area supports permanent sample coding, and the tubes and caps are autoclavable at 121 °C and freezable at –80 °C to fit preparation, transport, and storage routines across the lab.

Ordering information: All tubes are packaged with caps attached and sterilized via irradiation. Plastic racks are available as optional accessories in seven colors. An assorted-color pack offers one of each color: blue, green, orange, red, and yellow. Racks are designed for use with plug- or flat-bottom tubes. Caps and tubes packed separately for items 75845-202, 75845-204, and 75845-206.
Packaging: Racked tubes are packaged in environmentally responsible (fully recyclable) chipboard racks or plastic racks. Bagged tubes are packaged in durable and resealable (zip closure) bags. Inner packaging is individually labeled for lot-to-lot traceability.
