CitriSolv™ Xylene Substitute, for Histology and Pathology

CitriSolv™ is a d-Limonene-based solvent and clearing agent that can be used as a safe alternative to xylene and ethyl acetate

• Does not contain benzene and has low levels of toxicity

It is soluble with absolute alcohol and will dissolve paraffin, glues, adhesives and mounting media. CitriSolv™ provides for better tissue sections - it will not harden or shrink tissue. It dries slowly with no residue and enhances some stains. Use for manual or automatic tissue processor staining procedures in histology/cytology applications that require xylene.
