Versatile multi vortex mixer for vigorous re-suspension of cell or chemical pellets in a maximum of 32 tubes (16×1.5 ml,8×0.5 ml and 8×0.2 ml), with the facility to mix individual tubes up to 15 ml
Easy to use; continuous or touch operation and set speed knob from 500 to 3000 rpm.
Orbit: 2 mm. Compact design plus powerful motor gives quiet and consistent performance. Rubber suction pads prevent the unit from ‘walking’ and also absorb vibration.
Supplied with universal 32-place platform and flat platform for single tube mixing. Optional 6 socket platform for 10 ml tubes available separately.
Typical applications include vigorous stirring and re-suspension of bacterial and yeast cells and pellets, metabolite and enzyme extraction and various DNA operations such as deproteinisation of DNA/protein complexes and purification of low molecular weight DNA/RNA fragments.
