Freezing Sprays

Freeze sprays are nonflammable, moisture-free applicators used to instantly cool or freeze samples for routine histology, or for cryostat sectioning without leaving residues during the staining process. Freezing power in most models is controlled with a trigger actuator valve and polyethylene snorkel. The gas is 100% triple-filtered, noncorrosive, nonflammable, odorless, and a designated substitute for ozone-depleting compounds. Certain models can freeze fresh tissues down to - 51°C very quickly, eliminating water crystal formation often produced by slower freezing methods.
