Environmental Test Kits

CHEMetrics test kits measure total acid soluble sulfides and employ the methylene blue methodology. Sulfides react with dimethyl-p-phenylenediamine in the presence of ferric chloride to produce methylene blue.

The Titrets® test uses a ceric sulfate titrant with ferroin indicator. Depending on the procedure used, this kit can determine H2O2 concentrations from 0.01% to as high as 20%.

Ceric sulfate is the titrant and ferroin is the end point indicator. The method is free from glycol interference in samples that contain up to 75% glycol, making it particularly applicable to systems that contain nitrite corrosion inhibitors. Results are expressed as ppm (mg/L) NaNO2.

This chemical test kit for the determination of six parameters commonly monitored for aquaculture testing: alkalinity, carbon dioxide, hardness, dissolved oxygen, pH, and salinity. This kit is equipped with all the necessary reagents and equipment to perform over 100 tests for each parameter. pH is obtained with Hanna's pH tester, which guarantees greater accuracy and a longer life than traditional litmus paper.

Kit K-9203 comes in a cardboard box and contains everything needed to perform 30 tests: thirty ampoules, acidifier solution, activator powder, 25 ml sample cup, ampoule blank, and instructions. This kit requires the use of a CHEMetrics direct-readout Photometer or a spectrophotometer capable of accepting a 13 mm diameter round cell. Instrument sold separately.

It contains 30 self-filling CHEMets ampoules packaged securely in cardboard trays and box. R-6201 Iron CHEMets refill is compatible with C-6001 Low Range Iron Comparator and C-6010 high range iron comparator.

The ammonia test kits employing the well-established Nessler reagent to determine ammonia concentrations are applicable to drinking water, clean surface water, and good-quality nitrified wastewater effluent.

The test kits utilize CHEMetrics Titrets® ampoules. Titrets ampoules use a reverse titration technique to measure analyte concentration levels (titrant volume inside the ampoule is fixed while the sample volume is varied).

This product is a refill for K-7404 Ozone CHEMets visual kit for the analysis of ozone in water. It contains 30 self-filling CHEMets ampoules packaged securely in cardboard trays and box. R-7404 Ozone CHEMets refill is compatible with C-7404 low range ozone comparator and C-7405 high range ozone comparator.

These reagents are the replacement reagents for the total chlorine checker® HC. These high-quality reagents are manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility and are clearly marked with the lot number and expiration date on each packet for traceability.

The K-6020D Iron (total and soluble) HR CHEMets® test kit (10 to 100 ppm) comes in a plastic case and contains everything needed to perform 30 tests (except distilled water): HR CHEMets® refill, flat comparator, 25 ml sample cup, 3.0 ml syringe, iron activator solution, and instructions. Note: Kit contains only enough activator solution to perform approximately 7 total iron tests.
