Titrets® test kits use reverse titration to quantify concentrations in aqueous samples

The Vacu-vials® instrumental test kits employ the DPD chemistry and are accepted by the USEPA for wastewater and drinking water analysis.

The test kits utilize CHEMetrics Titrets® ampoules. Titrets ampoules use a reverse titration technique to measure analyte concentration levels (titrant volume inside the ampoule is fixed while the sample volume is varied).

The Titrets® test uses a ceric sulfate titrant with ferroin indicator. Depending on the procedure used, this kit can determine H2O2 concentrations from 0.01% to as high as 20%.

CHEMetrics’ Manganese water test kits employ the periodate chemistry that measures soluble manganese compounds but does not differentiate the various valence states.

Dissolved Oxygen in water test kits for environmental and drinking water applications (ppm range) employ the indigo carmine method. The reduced form of indigo carmine reacts with D.O. to form a blue product. The indigo carmine methodology is not subject to interferences from temperature, salinity, or dissolved gases such as sulfide, which plague users of D.O. meters.
