Do disinfectant cleaners really work as advertised? Find out by testing five disinfectant samples against two common nonpathogenic bacterial strains. Students place disinfectant disks on a bacterial culture; if it is effective against the bacteria, a clear zone will appear around the disc. It comes with tube cultures of Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia coli, materials for six setups, teacher’s guide, and student copymaster. Note: Coupon included for perishable materials.
