I purchased one of these about three years ago. It does what it is advertised and is a good deal for what it offers. It's a complete system, with the pump and everything and less than $1000 bucks. However, it is not very rugged as advertised. I had to send the first one back because of some cracks in the frame that caused some leakage and a broken pump. The second one they sent to me is working but one of the valves recently broke and leaks water. I do recommend it because of the cost and package deal, but beware of the quality of materials.

Very nice table recommended - I use the table as you would expect, showing stream development, and it works perfectly. Shows meanders, tributaries, you can even build dams and ponds. The price is a little steep but it is far better than anything else I've used. If I could make one improvement...thus the 4 rating...it would be a better filtering system to keep the sand out of the water reservoir. I used a pice of door scree

When it comes to studying erosion, sediment deposition, and the behavior of rivers and lakes, a stream table is a must-have. This affordable yet rugged ABS device features an integrated design that makes set-up a breeze – simply add water, turn on the pump, and teach! Additional features include five water jets – one water jet yields a little stream, while multiple jets form tributaries that join to form rivers, just like the natural landscape. A removable dam also creates a lake to illustrate how sediments form deltas. There’s even a reservoir that contains a sediment trap to prevent particulates from clogging the pump. Plus, the integrated prop holds the table at several angles, and the clear acrylic sides allow views of sediment layers. This steam table is fully watertight , durable, and stores easily. Shipping Terms
All orders will incur shipping and handling fees added to the total order value. Chemical & Hazardous Shipping Fee
Materials classified as hazardous by the D.O.T. may include, but are not limited to, chemicals, microbiological specimens, or activity kits containing these materials. If your order contains an item classified as hazardous by the D.O.T., a minimum $27.50 fee will be charged for each order. Orders for chemicals and hazardous materials will only be accepted from educational and research institutions; we will not ship chemicals to individuals. Select chemicals are now available with Poison Packs to enable faster shipping. Previously, these chemicals shipped freight within 7-14 days and incurred a $70.00 freight shipping charge. Now, added Poison Packs enable your chemicals to ship via UPS to arrive within 3-4 days, eliminating the $70 freight charge. Live Materials Delivery & Guarantee
All micro life cultures will be delivered to you within two business days when order is placed before 12:00 om EST. (demonstration plates, microalgae, Nostoc excluded). Your specimens or cultures will arrive in good condition or we will send a free replacement as soon as the next day. Requesting a delivery date of Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday ensures healthy delivery of your live specimens.
 
Bacteria and Pathogens
Shipping pathogens and bacterial cultures to high schools and individuals is prohibited by the Federal Health Service. State or local authorities may require a permit before we can ship pathogens to you. Colleges and universities are permitted to order pathogens and bacterial cultures through an institutional purchase order only.
