Glass Tubing

Glass is a very versatile material that has many applications, especially due to its remarkable properties of chemical resistance and electrical insulation, which makes glass tubing valuable in the laboratory. Glass has excellent chemical resistance and resistance from water corrosion, acid and alkali resistance. Glass tubing can be stretched, cut or bent to suit various laboratory applications. When materials such as metals and plastics have reached their limits under chemically aggressive liquids or gases, glass tubing still holds up. Glass can also retain color that protects its light-sensitive contents.
