Recently revised for 2008, The New York State Regents Examination in Physical Setting/Earth Science (Part D) consists of two components:
a laboratory performance test and a written test. The performance test now features four different stations of hands-on activities. Using the New York State Education Department guidelines for the 2008 Performance Test (Part D), Ward’s created cost-effective, convenient kits with everything you need to prepare for administering the test at each station.
Students find and record the relative density of different fluids at this station of the test. Ward’s Station #3 Kit Package includes 24 graduated cylinders, one roll of Parafilm M, one 16oz. bottle of corn syrup, one 16oz bottle of vegetable oil, six calculators, six hand lenses, and one package of rubber bands — enough materials for six station setups.
