| Simplify Experiments with Motion and Friction |
Perform accurate experiments on acceleration, Newton’s laws, and friction. The cart with this inclined plane rides on bearing wheels down a groove in the track, so it will never fall off. Numbered increments along the side allow for measurements to be taken during experiments or with the photoagte system, which clamps easily to the side for greater accuracy. Using the pre-mounted pulley on the plane’s end with a mass and string, you can create a modified Atwood machine. The attached protractor also allows for easy angle measurements.
