Dissectible into two-parts, this 70X life-size model shows the structure of the human skin in three dimensions. Anatomical structures are shown in detail, including the hair follicles, sebaceous glands, sweat glands, erector muscles, Pacinian corpuscles, nerves, and blood vessels. The different layers of the skin are each clearly defined. A portion of a hair shaft can also be removed to show internal details. Mounted on base, the model includes a key identifying structures.
