These life-size animal training simulators are a valuable tool for every veterinary education or animal care training course. Working with the realistic models, students gain valuable experience and master medical skills. Both the canine and feline models feature key landmarks for performing common animal emergency care procedures. Accurate representation of each animal’s airway highlights the trachea, esophagus, epiglottis, tongue, and articulated jaw. Working lungs provide the capability to administer mouth-to-snout rescue breathing, endotracheal tube placement, and manual ventilation. Intravenous jugular, vascular, and cephalic access are provided, combined with a manual artificial pulse. Students can practice a variety of techniques including chest compressions, splinting, and bandaging. And, for quick access to the animals’ interior, hook and loop closures, attached to the fur, can be easily opened. All parts are easily cleaned and replaceable. Includes: carrying case with kneeling pad, artificial training blood, IV reservoir, endotracheal tube, syringe, five disposable lungs, and instructions. Note: Intended for initial skill acquisition, not anatomical study. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
