Gain insight regarding the greenhouse effect through hands-on simulations. Students use both a PASPORT temperature sensor and a carbon dioxide sensor to simulate the effect of a greenhouse gas on the temperature of a simulated atmosphere. This activity can be completed in two 50-minute lab sessions. Includes materials for eight setups, a teacher’s guide, and student copymasters. The lab requires one CO2 sensor and temperature sensor, as well as two USB Links or two Xplorer Datalogger interfaces per setup, all available separately. Use one PowerLink interface in place of two USB Links if your computers do not have two USB ports.
