This durable, aluminum-constructed microscope is designed for ergonomic operation, with features such as a 360° rotatable Siedentopf-style head with independent diopter adjustment in one eyepiece, and a low-profile mechanical stage with a coaxial control knob. A bright, even field-of-view is delivered by the plan achromat objectives and built-in Koehler illumination. It also features a focusable substage Abbe condenser, slip clutch focusing to protect the gears, and a stage stop and retractable 40X and 100X ojectives to protect the optics and slides. The trinocular version has a 3rd tube in the head for attaching a C-mounted microvideo camera.
