The included stainless steel probe with easy-grip handle is more durable than a glass thermometer, and a Teflon® cover protects it from aggressive chemicals. The sensor’s wide range (displayed in Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin), extremely high resolution, and fast response cover the majority of temperature experiments in the lab. Interchange fast response and skin surface probes (both available separately) on the sensor to investigate the small but significant temperature changes produced by chemical reactions, convection currents, and skin at various points on the body.
