Just place the tip of the probe at the desired location and orientation and get an accurate measurement of magnetic field strength. Magnetic field is measured along the axis of the probe; readings are displayed in Gauss and millitesla. Molded plastic protects the sensing element for enhanced durability. Applications: Study the field strength of bar magnets and electromagnets • Examine the field strength of a solenoid • Measure the field strength of a Helmholtz coil • Measure the field strength of Earth’s magnetic field.Specifications: Range: -1000 to +1000 Gauss; accuracy: ±3% at 25°C (after 4 minute warm-up); resolution: 0.01 Gauss.Please note: Available to U.S. customers only.
