Measure acceleration changes in magnitude and direction and better understand how potential energy can be converted to kinetic. Takes five simultaneous measurements: acceleration in x, y and z axes (g or m/s/s); resultant acceleration; and altitude. Resultant acceleration and altitude can be displayed on the same graph.Applications: Roller coaster amusement park physics • Hiking, mountain biking, skiing • Starting, stopping, turning of an automobile. Use the Xplorer Vest (available separately) to secure the sensor during aggressive activities.Specifications: Acceleration for each axis and resultant: ±10 g with 0.01 g resolution; altitude: up to 7 km above sea level with 30 cm resolution; default sampling rate: 20 Hz for approx. nine minutes of ride data when used with the Xplorer.Please note: Available to U.S. customers only.
