Your students can explore all major earth science topics using the simulated investigations on the software. Many of the activities are based on recent and authentic global data, such as earthquakes, volcanoes, El Niño variations, vegetation patterns, and climate changes. The software also contains tools for modifying how you view the sample data. To further extend the data accuracy, it has the capability to import current data from an outside website that is supported and maintained by the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. Your students can then create and save investigations of varying complexity and download up-to-date data as it becomes available.
