LabPro is a versatile data collection device that can be used alone as a data logger or connected to either your computer or a handheld device to view and analyze the data. Simply connect LabPro to your computer via a serial or USB port or use the cradle system to attach it to a TI handheld for easy, portable use. When you are ready to start data collection, LabPro will automatically detect which Vernier sensors are connected. If working with your computer, the Logger Pro software (available separately) will analyze, graph, and print your collected data, making it easy to use for lab write ups. If working with a TI handheld, the built-in program on the LabPro can easily be transferred to the graphing calculator with just the touch of a button. In addition, you can use LabPro with most PDAs. The LabPro features six channels for data collection. Four are analog and the other two are digital. You can sample up to 50,000 readings per second per channel, and the LabPro will internally store 12,000 data points. The unit also features flash memory to upgrade the system with new features. The system comes with the LabPro interface unit, a voltage probe, both USB and serial computer cables, a calculator link cable, an AC power supply, and a user’s manual.
