| Test Chemical Properties of Seven Different Substances |
Students will combine seven different solutions in every possible combination and identify the various chemical properties by observing the reactions that occur in each combination. They will see such chemical changes as gas production, color changes, and formation of precipitates. After becoming familiar with the chemical properties of the solutions, students will use this information to identify four unknown substances. The kit contains laboratory exercises, reproducible lab and assessment manuals, and enough materials for six setups.
