Don't worry about where the closest electrical outlet is because this model is completely cordless. This cordless microscope features new, brighter LEDs with a 10,000 hour bulb life that gives exceptionally bright, even illumination. This unique bulb only heats up to 25°C to allow you to view living specimens for extended periods of time. The body is constructed of metal, but has a high-density, plastic-coated base to protect your work surfaces. The rechargable batteries can be recharged in just eight hours. It also features a 360° rotatable head, an eyepiece pointer in one eyepiece, Seidentopf-style binocular head for the best custom fit to your eyes, a slip clutch to protect gears, and a stage stop to protect optics and slides; and it includes an instruction manual, dust cover, and power supply for recharging.
