Acid/Base Titrations CD-ROM
Simulate the Relationship Between Various Titration Levels and pH

Students can choose from six bases, 18 acids, and seven indicators to illustrate concepts such as choice of indicator and the effect of solution strength on the end point. They can also choose a pKa or pKb to simulate any acid or base. The molarity of each solution may be set from a menu or entered directly and 100 unknown molarities are available for student assignments and testing. In addition, a Quiz option allows the students to determine the unknown concentration of a solution. The program will also automatically graph the titration reaction and students can save and print their experiments. Twelve preset experiments are detailed in a printable manual included on the CD. System RequirementsWindows: 486 processor, Windows 95/98/NT/2000, 16MB RAM
