Help students develop their observation and data recording skills with this incubation system. The digital incubator automatically rotates to ensure optimal dispersion of heat over the eggs. The system includes a brooder with a feeding trough and drinker, and the transparent top of the incubator can be removed and put in the brooder as a warm enclosure for the chicks. Both the incubator and brooder are made of durable plastic for easy cleaning and durability and offer excellent visibility and minimal heat loss. In addition, the system comes with a lesson plan manual and CD-ROM covering topics on development and anatomy, as well as color photographs of developing embryos. A candling lamp to watch development in the egg, humidity thermometers, and disinfectant are also included. Capacity of incubator: 24 hen eggs, but it will accommodate eggs of all sizes up to goose eggs. Size of incubator: 12″L x 9″W x 10″H.
