| Perfect for Taking Subsamples |
Designed to take measured soil cores using the USEPA protocols for field preservation techniques, this system can be used in the field or for subsampling from brass sleeves or soil jars back in the lab. The system features a lock’N’load handle with settings to collect either 5 or 10 g of sample. Simply attach a specially-designed sterile syringe (available separately) to the handle, then fit the syringe securely into the neck of a 40 mL glass vial (also available separately). The syringe features a beveled edge, which is stronger than a cut syringe and fits more securely into the vial. By turning the handle, soil can be dispensed into the vial without removing the syringe. Made of durable polyethylene. Size of handle: 4 3/4″L.
