Replica. The life-sized skull has a sectioned calvarium that lifts off to reveal a removable WARD’S two-part brain model. The skull is removable from its display base and features exceptional internal and external detail showing all of the structures, including well-defined teeth, dorsum sellae, a hinged jaw, and grooves for sinuses, vessels, and nerves. It also provides an excellent fit for the brain model, which protrudes through the foramen magnum. WARD’S original brain model, cast from an actual human specimen, has been recast to create this model. It is constructed of durable soft plastic and reveals the most accurate detail found anywhere.
