Designed for the first-time user, the complete system comes with all the hardware you need to run electrophoresis tests. It safely runs on low-voltage batteries, which provide enough power to run up to ten gels, and it is so economical, you can purchase a lab pack of five systems for all your lab groups to run electrophoresis gels at the same time. Each kit includes an electrophoresis chamber with high-conductivity platinum electrodes that won’t corrode, gel casting tray, six-well comb, patch cords, and instructions. Five 9 V batteries, required, are available separately. Size: chamber 10 x 10 x 5.75 cm; casting tray 8.25 x 7.5 x 3.25 cm.
