The built-in user program allows the transfer of the program in use to your graphing calculator with the push of a single button. Flash memory technology lets you update your program and store multiple experiment trials and experiment setups, while the quick setup model allows you to collect data without the calculator attached. Auto ID probes are automatically recognized by the CBL 2 and the CBL 2 is compatible with your existing probes and most CBL programs and workbooks, including TI GraphLink. There are four channels for data recording, three analog and one sonic/bidirectional digital, which collect approximately 12,000 data points at a rate of 50,000 points per second per channel. The CBL 2 has an innovative cradle system that is designed for the CBL 2 unit and the graphing calculator to become one unit for portable, single-handed use. It can be used with graphing calculators TI-83 Plus, TI-84, TI-86, and TI-89 (sold separately). It comes with a stainless steel temperature probe, voltage probe, light probe, 6″ link cable, teacher’s guide with experiments, TI resource CD, and four AA batteries. Additional experiments can be downloaded from www.ti.com. Size: 8 1/2″L x 3 1/2″ W x 1 1/4″H.
