Students isolate DNA from a variety of specimens with the all-inclusive kit. You supply samples such as whole mammalian or non-mammalian blood or bone marrow, animal tissue, cultured cells, body fluids, or Gram-negative bacterial cultures; the rest of the materials are provided. The activity can be completed in less than 45 minutes. It comes with enough materials for ten isolations, as well as easy-to-follow instructions. A microcentrifuge with a minimum of 10,000 rpm, required, is available separately.
