Twice the natural size, with exceptional detail and intricate coloring, this lifelike model is easy to study, helping students gain a lasting understanding of the human heart’s structure. The model features lifelike tricuspid and mitral valves with flexible chordae tendinae to illustrate the function of the valves in controlling blood flow. Three flaps reveal the interior of the heart, and each is attached to the model by a hinge so parts won’t get lost. The model is mounted on a wooden stand and can be removed for closer examination.
