Enlarged 45X, the Dryopteris fern prothallium features the antheridia and archegonia on the underside, and a developing fern emerging from a fertilized ovum on the top. It also shows the rhizoids that anchor the prothallium. The model is mounted on a base. Size: 12″H x 10″W x 8″D.
