The pebbled rubber mat on the top shelf prevents slipping, and all shelves have a protective raised lip and measure 18″ x 24″. It is finished in dark brown, chip-resistant enamel paint. The overall height adjusts from 26″ to 42″. Top to middle shelf: 12″; middle to bottom shelf: 22″.
