More than just a collection of images, this program is an interactive computer supplement for lessons on histological slides for when you don’t have a microscope, yet it also provides a good reference while viewing slides under a microscope. The program contains over 180 large, sharp images of WARD’S prepared microscope slides, each with labels and informative text. Histological tissues are organized by body system. Clicking on a list of structures for a particular tissue highlights them on the corresponding image, and brings up comprehensive information on form and function.
