| Simple, Inexpensive Demonstration of Respiration |
This unique and easy-to-use model features parts that accurately replicate the action that occurs during respiration. Pull on the rubber diaphragm covering the bell jar and, as air pressure in the jar is reduced, the balloon “lungs” fill with air. Push the diaphragm in, and the balloons collapse, re-creating exhalation. The set includes an acrylic bell jar, Y tube, two balloons, a rubber diaphragm with a knob for ease of movement, and an instruction manual. Size of bell jar: 7 1/2″ dia. x 7 1/2″H.
