This kit gives step-by-step guidance for your students to grow and compare irradiated seeds to a control group. Each student will germinate seeds in their own development domes, and then observe the differences present on internal and external seed structures, seedlings, and the number of roots hairs. All materials, including irradiated and normal seeds and a teacher’s guide, are supplied for a class of 30 students.
