Interesting Lab Helps Students Become Better Educated Consumers |
Using over-the-counter aspirin tablets from different brands of your choice, students analyze and compare them against a “Brand X” standard provided in the kit. They will determine the percentage of aspirin and the “filler” components, check the pH and calculate the unit cost for each brand. After completing their analysis, students will be able to determine which are better and/or safer. You will receive a teacher’s manual, student worksheets, and materials for 30 students.
