| Use Science to Prove the Effectiveness of Various Shampoos |
The open-ended design of this kit allows students to test their favorite brands in addition to the five provided samples. They will analyze differences in pH, solids content, flash foam formation and retention time, relative viscosity, ink dispersion, and cost per 5 mL. These factors will then be considered in relation to how well the shampoo works. Each experiment can be repeated five times. The kit includes enough materials for 12 setups, instructor’s and assessment manuals, and student data sheet.
