Students will analyze two unknowns and three knowns by viewing the bright line (emission) spectrum. This activity utilizes a special dropper system, so no hydrochloric acid is required. It includes materials for six setups including 30 droppers, 15 spectroscopes, one Q.A. Spectroscope for qualitative analysis, and instructions.
