Determine the effects of weather on evaporation rates with only a sponge and a balance. Students can alter different variables such as temperature, humidity, air movement, and surface area and observe their effects on drying rates. The balance can also be used for an exercise exploring density by water displacement. Instructions are included. A lamp and fan, required, are available separately.
