Place the sampler on the stream bottom and stir up the substrate within the 12″ square frame boundary to drive sediments and invertebrates into the 24″ bag made of 1,000 μm mesh. The two pivoting stainless steel frames fold flat for storage and lock into place at right angles when sampling. This sampler is designed for use in shallow streams 18″ deep or less.
